Update: The fire has been named the Lowell #5 fire and is very small. Containment expected very soon. Fire size now reported at less than a quarter acre. Unknown cause.
Fire crews are working to contain a small wildfire in the area of Observatory Mesa in Flagstaff. The fire as of this posting is roughly 1 quarter of an acre in size. Updates will be posted to this page, so stay tuned to Flagscanner and Flagscanner.com for additional information.
