Good news! Baby Delilah found safe

Delilah Nelson has been found safe. No further details at this time


UPDATE: 11:11 p.m.

Delilah Nelson is described as a Native American female, 15-months old, approximately 2-feet tall, and about 30-pounds.

Shawn Nelson is described as a Native American male, 40 years-old, 5-foot 6 inches, approximately 232-pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

According to a press release from Navajo Police, Delilah is believed to be in danger. It is unclear why, however her non-custodial father, Shawn Nelson, reportedly took her from her grandmother’s residence. Police are urging the public to be on the lookout for her.

Dilkon, AZ – The Navajo Police Department, Dilkon District is asking for the public’s help in locating 1 year-old Delilah Nelson.

Police believe the Teesto child was taken by her father Shawn Nelson, who does not have custody.

  1. As happy as I am about this baby being home, why was there no amber alert issued? I have been awakened in the middle of the night in Flagstaff by a child missing in Yuma so what’s the issue with this? Clearly something to discuss.
