Antelope Fire FINAL UPDATE 5 PM #AntelopeFire: nearly 400 acres burned

UPDATE 5 PM: Latest numbers are roughly 372 acres burned. The fire was called in shortly after 1 pm. No structures were lost or threatened. The cause is under investigation.

UPDATE 4 PM: Air attack planes have been released and sent back to their bases. ground crews continue to make great work of the fire and full containment is expected soon.

UPDATE 3:08 pm: ground crews are making excellent progress on the fire. Air support still requested.

UPDATE 2:47 pm: 2 large Air Tankers are en route to this fire. It is now approximately 30 acres.

UPDATE: This fire is in the Antelope Hills area near the old trading post.

Several Fire units are responding to a new fire being dubbed the Antelope Fire which the USFS says is roughly 15 miles north of Doney Park near highway 89N. So far the fire has grown to 2 acres. This page with auto-refresh. Updates will show above.
