Child Hit By Vehicle in Sunnyside Area. Roads Closed.

On 6-13-16, at approximately 3:45 PM, Officers with the Flagstaff Police Department were called to 2300 Block of North Main St. in Flagstaff, Arizona in reference to a report of a child who had been struck by a motor vehicle. Upon arrival officers identified that the four year old child was riding their scooter to a lemon-aid stand across the street from their resident.

Flagstaff Police Department’s Accident Reconstruction Team was called to the scene to investigate. They learned that the child had went under the vehicle after they were struck.

The driver of the vehicle has been identified and the case is actively being investigated. This investigation is in its preliminary stages and further information may be provided as we learn more.
