OPEN: I-17 north-bound Flagstaff

Interstate 17 north-bound is now back open following crash earlier Wednesday.

According to DPS, the crash involved a single motorcycle that lost control. The male driver was thrown from the bike. The man was wearing a helmet and transported to FMC for treatment.

The crash is under investigation.

The interstate 17, north-bound traffic 2 miles south of I-40 is closed due to a crash.

There are no further details regarding the accident at this time. ADOT estimates the closure to remain in effect until just before 3 p.m. Wednesday.
