Update: The victim has been identified as missing person Mark Nelson. Yesterday, we posted information pertaining to Nelson’s disappearance. On 12/27/16, at approximately 4:00 PM, Mark Nelson was last seen walking out of the Flagstaff Medical Center south on San Francisco St.
Shortly after 7:30 am this morning, Flagstaff Police Officers and medics were dispatched to the Valvoline Auto Service Center located at 1061 W Rt Route 66 for a person not breathing. When Officers arrived they found an adult male outside of the business cold, and without any vital signs. Medics declared the person deceased on scene. Detectives have been called to the scene and crime scene tape is surrounding the building. We will have updates if and when we get them.
