Flagstaff police are conducting a death investigation after a body was discovered near the intersection of Fanning and Lockett early Tuesday morning. At around 6 A.M. Tuesday morning, a 911 call was received by a concerned citizen stating they had found a female laying in a drainage ditch. The citizen also said the woman appeared to be deceased. When Officers arrived, they found the deceased woman in a ditch behind the Sizzler restaurant and immediately asked for detectives to be called to the scene. This is still an active investigation.
