Delayed: Wildland fire near Snowbowl Rd.

This evening, Summit Fire responded to a reported Wildland fire near Snowbowl Road. Crews arrived on scene and found multiple small fires. SFMD reports that it appeared to be caused by lighting that struck power poles, causing a charged line to spark the fires. Two Forest Service engines assisted efforts. SFMD reports the fires are under control.
