Flagstaff Police: A semi tractor trailer has overturned onto its side spilling the contents of the trailer at the intersection of N Highway 89 and N Country Club Drive. City of Flagstaff, ADOT, and Jett Towing are working to clear the intersection expeditiously. This incident has forced the closure of southbound N. Country Club Drive from N. Highway 89; meaning the access entry ramp and the two left turn lanes from N. Highway 89 are closed. In order to access I-40, you will need to either use E Marketplace or Old Historic Route 66. Residents in Country Club will need to utilize E Butler to access I-40. Crews on scene have estimated the time expected to clear the roadway and re-open Country Club between one and six hours. Please be mindful of this area and have patience as the crews on scene are working as quickly and safely as possible to re-open the area. We will provide an update as soon as the roadway is open. North and southbound Highway 89 lanes are open and passable.
