Grant County, WA Sheriff’s Deputies have arrested a Flagstaff Man for threatening to open fire on numerous schools in the town of Coulee City. Officials say 39-year-old Benjamin VanTassell telephoned a local television news station Wednesday morning with the threats. School lock-downs were initiated, and efforts to apprehend and locate VanTassell began. He was eventually located and taken into custody after a brief high speed pursuit. VanTassel was taken into custody without further incident, and remains behind bars facing multiple charges.
