A routine field contact by a Flagstaff Police Officer turned into a foot pursuit Monday afternoon after the subject the Officer was attempting to contact ran from her. The incident started in the parking lot between Denny’s and the Holiday Inn Express on Lucky Ln. As the Officer was chasing the suspect she advised other officers responding that the suspect was armed with a knife. Several Officers established a perimeter surrounding the area and eventually apprehended him off of Huntington.
According to arrest reports, the subject is identified as Justin Paul Crawford of Flagstaff, AZ.
