October 6th, 2017 at 11:05 AM

The Flagstaff Police Department is investigating several reports of a subject who may be attempting to lure teenage girls into his vehicle.

The Flagstaff Police Department has received multiple reports from victims that are extremely concerning. Each of these reports describes a Native American male suspect, approaching teenage girls while they are walking to school or to the bus stop and harassing, grabbing and/or attempting to lure them into his vehicle. Some of the reports involve the suspect approaching these victims on foot while others describe him as approaching them in a silver colored sport utility vehicle.

The Flagstaff Police Department is asking the public to remain aware of your surroundings and report any suspicious behaviors seen while obtaining detailed descriptions of any possible suspects and vehicles involved. This may include the make model and license plate number of any suspicious vehicles involved in such activities.

The Flagstaff Police Department is providing this information so our community may take precautions to protect themselves, their families and their homes. We are asking anyone with any information in reference to this case to contact the Flagstaff Police Department at (928)774-1414 or call Silent Witness at (928)774-6111.
