Flagstaff Police Department- MEDIA RELEASE
FLAGSTAFF, AZ (September 22, 2017): The Flagstaff Police Department is investigating a trespass that occurred at the 2400 block of North Main Street and providing close patrols at Killip Elementary School attempting to locate a suspicious white van.
This morning at approximately 1:30 AM a 9 year old girl was awoken by the sounds of a man crawling into her bedroom window. She screamed drawing the attention of her parents which caused the suspect to flee the area.
The victim described the suspect as a male with shoulder length hair wearing a black shirt. She was unable to provide a more detailed description. She did recall a friend telling her that they had seen a suspicious white van driving in the area of Killip Elementary School with a person who was “watching the children”.
The Flagstaff Police Department is providing this information so our community may take precautions to protect themselves, their families and their homes.
