FLAGSTAFF, Ariz (August 14, 2018)–The Flagstaff Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that occurred this morning and is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the person(s) responsible.
This morning at approximately 4:00 AM a man entered the Circle K store on South Lake Mary Road and pointed a gun at the clerk demanding money. The suspect told the cashier that he had a grenade in his left hand. He then grabbed the cash register off the counter and fled the area in a westerly direction. The suspect was described a s light skinned, thin build, and approximately 5’10” tall wearing a black fleece hat, red bandana (covering face), black jacket, blue jeans, and white and black “skater” shoes.
This case is in its preliminary stages of the investigation and information is continuing to be developed.
