FLASH FLOOD WARNING FROM 8:32PM MST TUE UNTIL 10:30PM MST TUE THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN FLAGSTAFF HAS ISSUED A * FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR… YAVAPAI COUNTY IN WEST CENTRAL ARIZONA… COCONINO COUNTY IN NORTH CENTRAL ARIZONA… * UNTIL 1030 PM MST * AT 830 PM MST, NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SECOND BATCH OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS MOVING INTO THE SEDONA AREA. SPOTTERS ARE ALREADY REPORTING AN INCH OF RAIN AND SOME STREET FLOODING FROM PREVIOUS STORMS. FLASH FLOODING IS EXPECTED TO BEGIN SHORTLY. * SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE… SEDONA, JUNIPINE RESORT, GARLAND’S OAK CREEK LODGE, SLIDE ROCK STATE PARK, MANZANITA CAMPGROUND AND RED ROCK STATE PARK. THIS INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING HIGHWAYS… STATE ROUTE 179 BETWEEN MILE MARKERS 308 AND 313. STATE ROUTE 89A BETWEEN MILE MARKERS 361 AND 383. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS… TURN AROUND, DON’T DROWN WHEN ENCOUNTERING FLOODED ROADS. MOST FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN VEHICLES. &&
