Fire in Hotel Room Yesterday (Flagstaff)

March 15th, 2016 at 2:53 PM

At approximately 0600 hours Monday morning, the FFD responded several units to the report of a hotel room on fire with smoke and flames showing near the 2000 block of West Milton Avenue. First arriving crews on scene found smoke filled hotel room and forced entry into the room. Once entry was made, the fire crew found evidence that a fire had been extinguished from the hotel room’s sprinkler system. Fire crews remained on scene to secure the scene and assist with property conservation from the massive quantities of water spilling out of the room. The fire cause is currently undetermined and total damage cost has not yet been assessed. Stay safe Flagstaff.
