The Flagstaff Fire Department’s Wildland Fire Crew will continue to ignite piles located in Equestrian Estates. In addition to these piles, Fire Station 3 located on Nestle Purina Dr., will be igniting a handful of piles around the station. These piles are hand piles generated from hazardous fuels reduction and forest health restoration projects. These piles will be ignited and closely monitored to ensure good consumption and minimal smoke impact, however some minimal impact could be experienced on the far West side of town. The Legal for the Equestrian piles is T 21 R 7 Sec 30 and the legal for Station 3 is T 21 R 8 S 7 . Smoke is expected to move Southwest in the mornings and North in the afternoon with forecasted winds.
