The Department of Public Safety is on the lookout for a man they say has made numerous false reports to 911 operators in Northern Arizona. According to Trooper’s reports, the man called 911 on at least 2 occasions claiming his vehicle had been shot at by a passing car while traveling on the roadway. On one occasion, Deputies actually pulled over a vehicle matching the false claim and quickly determined it was a hoax. Detectives with the agency say they are working solid leads on tracking down the suspect. If anyone has information on the case, call DPS at (602) 223-2000.
