Flagstaff Police and Fire are currently on the scene of a traffic collision on Route 66 in front of the Best Western Pony Soldier Inn. When the initial officer arrived, he observed one of the drivers attempting to flee the scene on foot. The officer was able to chase the suspect and take them into custody. No injuries are being reported, but the person who tried to flee is now being investigated for possible impairment. Avoid the area. Traffic delays are present.
