1:15pm The vehicle was stopped at at mile marker 239 after hitting spike strips. Two subjects were taken into custody.
12:55pm DPS and CCSO are currently involved in a high speed pursuit on the eastbound I-40 with speeds reaching up to 125 miles per hour. The pursuit began in the City limits. The fleeing vehicle is reportedly a stolen vehicle and described as a white Toyota Corrolla with pink writing in the rear window saying “Just Married”.
