UPDATE 2:50PM: I-17 will remain open and ADOT will conduct the remove of the dynamite at another time. NO CLOSURES at this point.
I-17 is currently closed at Kelly Canyon for an extremely dangerous Hazmat situation involving dynamite. This closure will affect both northbound AND southbound lanes for approximately four hours.
You can avoid the full closure by heading into Sedona and taking HWY 89.
