Interstate 40 has reopened following a deadly wrong way driver crash in Flagstaff

UPDATE: As of 8:45 am, I-40 is open following a fatal collision involving a semi truck near the Country Club exit in Flagstaff. The accident occurred shortly before midnight on Monday and at least one person was killed. State troopers say it appears a wrong way driver caused the accident. Names of victims have not been released.

1:15 a.m. : According to state troopers and ADOT, Interstate 40 eastbound is closed at milepost 201 (Country Club exit in Flagstaff ) due to a serious accident involving a semi-truck. The closure is expected to last into the early morning hours.
