State Officials will be igniting roughly 500 acres of pile burns six miles from Kachina Village (south of Flagstaff) today and tomorrow. The burns are expected is to start Tuesday and burn over the course of two days. Smoke will likely affect the communities of Flagstaff and Mountainaire.
