The Flagstaff City Council approved a construction contract with C and E Paving & Grading for the summer Chip Seal (Phase 2) program in the amount of $1,867,387.18, on June 7, 2016. This work is funded by Highway User Revenue Fund (HURF) fund. The Phase 2 program contains asphalt preventative maintenance measures, chip seals, on 130 city streets.
The City and C and E Paving will start work Monday on our second year of improvements. Here are the streets scheduled for overlay work in Phase 2:
