SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR YAVAPAI AND COCONINO COUNTIES UNTIL 100 PM MST… AT 1212 PM MST, DOPPLER RADAR WAS TRACKING A GROUP OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS NEAR MUNDS PARK, OR 10 MILES EAST OF SEDONA. THESE STORM WERE NEARLY STATIONARY. PENNY SIZE HAIL AND WINDS IN EXCESS OF 40 MPH WILL BE POSSIBLE WITH THESE STORMS. LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE… STONEMAN LAKE, MORMON LAKE, MUNDS PARK, DAIRY SPRINGS CAMPGROUND AND DOUBLE SPRINGS CAMPGROUND. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS… TORRENTIAL RAINFALL IS ALSO OCCURRING WITH THIS STORM, AND MAY LEAD TO LOCALIZED FLOODING. DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE THROUGH FLOODED ROADWAYS.
