On 1/8/18 at approximately 2:14 pm, Arizona State Troopers contacted Neilson Jay Tsosie, 26 years old, for standing in the middle of US 89N, 10 miles north of Flagstaff. It was reported Tsosie was pointing a firearm at a passing vehicle. An investigation revealed a tool belt with a hammer near Tsosie which may have been the object Tsosie used to point at vehicles. No gun was located in the area. Tsosie was booked into the Coconino County Jail in Flagstaff for blocking a public thoroughfare, failure to comply with a lawful order, resisting arrest, providing false information to a law enforcement officer, and a warrant.
