Crews had to do some cleanup after a 18 wheeler tanker truck crashed and spilled hundreds of gallons of liquid chocolate on interstate 40 near Flagstaff today. According to DPS, the crash occurred around 9 a.m. on Monday. DPS told FLAGscanner that a truck hauling liquid chocolate was traveling west on I-40 near mile marker 211 (10 miles east of Flagstaff) when the truck rolled over, spilling the chocolate content of the tanker all over the interstate. Westbound lanes of I-40 were closed as crews worked to clear the mess, but ADOT reported that all lanes had reopened by 2:15 p.m. The cause of the tanker rollover is under investigation.
