WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 5 AM THURSDAY TO 5 AM MST FRIDAY ABOVE 6000 FEET
Winter Weather Advisory issued December 8 at 1:48PM MST until December 10 at 5:00AM MST by NWS Flagstaff AZ
* WHAT…Snow expected above 6000 feet. Total snow accumulations
of 4 to 11 inches. Locally higher totals above 8000 ft. Winds
gusting as high as 45 mph.

* WHERE…Areas above 6000 feet near Jacob Lake.

* WHEN…From 5 AM Thursday to 5 AM MST Friday.

* IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult to impossible. Patchy
blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The
hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening
commute.

Snow forecast from 5 AM Thursday to 5 AM Friday:

Jacob Lake 7 to 11 inches.
