At around 5am this morning, Winslow Fire dept was dispatched to a house fire in the 400 block of E. 3rd st. When crews arrived, they found heavy smoke and flames coming from the residence. An adult male was unfortunately trapped inside the home and did not make it out alive. The cause of the fire is not yet determined and an investigation is underway.
