HIGH WIND WATCH IN EFFECT FROM TUESDAY EVENING THROUGH WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON
High Wind Watch issued February 19 at 2:20PM MST until February 22 at 5:00PM MST by NWS Flagstaff AZ
* WHAT…Southwest winds 35 to 45 mph with gusts of 60 to 70 mph
possible.
* WHERE…Lower elevations of central and northern Arizona.
* WHEN…From Tuesday evening through Wednesday afternoon.
* IMPACTS…High winds may move loose debris, damage property
and cause power outages. Travel could be difficult especially
for high profile vehicles.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Some areas of light snow will develop
behind a cold front passage on Wednesday, causing areas of
blowing snow and poor visibility.
