WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 9 PM TUESDAY TO 11 PM MST WEDNESDAY
Winter Storm Warning issued February 20 at 2:03PM MST until February 22 at 11:00PM MST by NWS Flagstaff AZ
* WHAT…Heavy snow and very strong winds expected. Total snow
accumulations of 6 to 12 inches above 6000 feet, with lesser
amounts of 2 to 6 inches down to 5000 feet and across
northeastern Arizona. Winds gusting from 60 to 70 mph will
cause very dangerous travel with blizzard like conditions,
regardless of snowfall accumulations.

* WHERE…Areas near Alpine, Buffalo Pass, Doney Park,
Flagstaff, Forest Lakes, Fredonia, Ganado, Heber-Overgaard,
Jacob Lake, Pinetop-Lakeside, Prescott, Prescott Valley,
Sedona, Seligman, Shonto, Show Low, Valle, Whiteriver,
Williams and Window Rock.

* WHEN…From 9 PM Tuesday to 11 PM MST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS…Travel will be very difficult to impossible.
Widespread blowing snow with blizzard like conditions are
likely. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning and
evening commute. Very strong winds could cause extensive tree
damage and power outages.

Doney Park 5 to 9 inches Flagstaff 8 to 12 inches
Forest Lakes 14 to 20 inches Fredonia 1 to 3 inches
Ganado 2 to 4 inches Heber-Overgaard 5 to 9 inches
Jacob Lake 5 to 9 inches Pinetop-Lkside 8 to 12 inches
Prescott 2 to 4 inches Prescott Valley 1 to 2 inches
Sedona 2 to 4 inches Seligman 1 to 3 inches
Shonto 1 to 3 inches Show Low 5 to 9 inches
Valle 3 to 5 inches Whiteriver 4 to 6 inches
