Flagstaff AZ: On September 10, 2024, The Coconino County Sheriff’s Office K9 Unit conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle traveling on Interstate 17, which resulted in another large seizure of Methamphetamine.
At approximately 3:14pm the Coconino Sheriff’s Office K9 Unit conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle traveling northbound on Interstate 17 near mile post 315. The driver was arrested for a warrant out of Maricopa County. During a search of the vehicle, the deputy discovered approximately 41 pounds of methamphetamine.
The driver was arrested and booked into the Coconino County Detention Facility for Transportation of Dangerous Drugs for Sale and the warrant. This matter is still under investigation and no further information is available at this time.
