Arrest Made in a Flagstaff Murder That Happened Earlier This Month.



Homicide Update – Case P2413193

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. — October 1, 2024 at approximately 3:00 PM, officers from the Flagstaff Police Department responded to reports of a man placing an unresponsive female into a vehicle in the 2300 block of S Beulah Blvd.

Dispatch provided a description of the vehicle, which was located and stopped at 501 S Milton Rd. Upon contact, officers found the female unresponsive and initiated life-saving measures. Medical personnel arrived shortly thereafter but were unable to revive her; she was pronounced deceased at the scene. The victim has been identified as 38-year-old Sandy Singer of Tonalea, AZ.

As part of the ongoing investigation, Criminal Investigators have conducted extensive follow-up, resulting in the arrest of 38-year-old Samuel Lee of Ganado, AZ, on October 18th in connection with this case. Mr. Lee has been booked into the Coconino County Jail on charges of second-degree murder and sexual assault and is currently awaiting his next court appearance.
