Eastbound Interstate 40 has closed near Kingman and in Ash Fork due to multiple vehicle slide-offs related to winter weather conditions and heavy snowfall. Motorists traveling east on I-40 from Kingman will be detoured onto southbound US 93, exiting I-40 at milepost 72, and will travel toward the Phoenix area. Motorists already beyond the closure point near Kingman at milepost 72 will exit I-40 at milepost 146 in Ash Fork.
State Route 89A remains closed between Sedona and Flagstaff because of winter weather conditions.
