12pm CCSO SAR, and Flagstaff EMS are responding to the Elden Lookout Trail for a person feeling nauseous and vomiting. Search and Rescue teams have been called to assist. EMS will be accessing the trail via the KOA campground. Updates will be below.
UPDATE: Incident command has been established. CCSO is on the scene advising that the patient will be difficult to access and that they are possibly not able to walk.
UPDATE: Crews are saying they may to need to access the patient via the Fat Man’s Loop Trail instead on the east end.
UPDATE: Patient is confirmed to on the Fat Man’s Loops Trail. Best access is off Highway 89. Units are relocating.
