3:47 PM Flagstaff Fire ARFF is awaiting an inbound aircraft that is having landing gear issues. The aircraft is a Cessna 177 with retractable landing gear. The aircraft took off from Flagstaff and has 2 people on board. UPDATE: The pilot has made several passes near the tower for confirmation that the landing gear is malfunctioning. The aircraft is on final approach now. Several fire units are awaiting. UPDATE: THE AIRCRAFT HAS CRASH-LANDED WITH WHAT APPEARS TO BE A NOSE GEAR MALFUNCTION.
