UPDATE FROM DPS: State Troopers say a female driver was reported as driving very recklessly yesterday afternoon on Interstate 40 prior to being pulled over. Callers advised 911 that she was driving her small white Kia sedan at a high rate of speed through a construction zone narrowly missing workers. She also allegedly had several near collisions with other drivers. The driver fled from the traffic stop at a rate of speed and was ultimately boxed in by Troopers on Butler Ave, where she was taken into custody at gunpoint. Her identity has not been released.
