7:07 PM Area Law Enforcement agencies are looking for a missing 13-year-old boy who is non-verbal and autistic. The child ran away from his home in the 1400 block of University Heights Drive North. The child has shoulder-length dirty blonde hair. We will have more information as it becomes available. This post will auto-refresh with real-time updates below.
UPDATE 7:28 PM: The Child is wearing a yellow Sinagua T-shirt that is dirty on the front.
UPDATE 7:31 PM: The child was located by a citizen at a hotel on Woodlands Village Blvd. Officers are saying they had a visual of him, but lost sight due to the child running away from them. CCSO, NAU Police, and FPD are all converging in the area.
UPDATE 7:34 PM: The child is running up the stairs of the Springhill Suites, 2455 S Beulah Blvd. Locking down the Hotel now.
UPDATE 7:36 PM: Several Officers are posted at all entrances and exits of the building. The child’s mother is also en route to assist.
UPDATE 8 PM: Child and mother have been reunited.
