The City of Flagstaff Stormwater section is hosting two community seminars by Floodproofing.com on Tuesday, Sept. 17, at 9 – 11 a.m. and on Wednesday, Sept. 18, at 4 – 6 p.m. at the Murdoch Center (203 E Brannen Ave). Both workshops are free to attend. All members of the public are encouraged to attend and no sign-up is required.
The seminars will cover topics including floodproofing product options, property risk assessment, risk rating policy updates, and the cost and benefits of insurance options including the National Flood Insurance Program. The private party vendor leading the workshops is recognized by the Association of State Floodplain Managers as one of the leading firms in flood risk reduction and flood insurance.
