This morning at around 11 AM CCSO and Ponderosa Fire Department were sent to conduct a welfare check on a vehicle in the vicinity of Forest Service Rd 171 and FS 222A. First responders were able to locate the vehicle roughly 30 minutes later and found a deceased person at the scene. We do not know if the body was located inside or outside of the car. No further information was provided.
