FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. — Motorists traveling along Lockett Road should prepare for traffic restrictions on Tuesday, October 20, as the City of Flagstaff continues work on its Road Repair and Street Safety (RRSS) Project.
Eastbound Lockett Road will be closed between Fourth Street and Patterson Boulevard from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday to accommodate ongoing roadway improvements.
During the closure, access from Lockett Road to Dyer Street, Childress Street, King Street, Wayman Street, and Walker Street will remain closed.
Westbound traffic on Lockett Road will remain open throughout the operation. However, motorists may encounter flaggers assisting construction crews with equipment and material access.
Drivers traveling through the area are encouraged to plan alternate routes, allow additional travel time, and exercise caution around construction crews and equipment.
The work is part of the city’s ongoing effort to repair and improve Flagstaff streets while enhancing roadway safety.
