Residents in Bellemont and eastern Parks may hear loud blasts throughout the day as Camp Navajo conducts demolition training exercises. The military base has scheduled explosives training for today between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM on its west side.

Camp Navajo officials advise that the detonations are part of a planned training operation and pose no threat to nearby communities. However, due to the nature of the exercises, loud explosive sounds are expected and may be noticeable in the surrounding areas—particularly in Bellemont and on the eastern edge of Parks.

Flagscanner will provide updates if additional activity is announced. Local residents are asked to remain aware and understand that the noise is temporary and controlled.
