Flash Flood Warning issued August 18 at 1:29PM MST until August 18 at 4:30PM MST by NWS Flagstaff AZ
The National Weather Service in Flagstaff has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for…
Coconino County in north central Arizona…

* Until 430 PM MST.

* At 127 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1.25 and 2 inches of
rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.25 to 0.5
inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing
or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD…Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE…Radar.

IMPACT…Flash flooding of low-water crossings, creeks,
normally dry washes and roads.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include…
Mountainaire, Kachina Village, Sterling Fish Hatchery, Pine Flat
Campground, and Cave Springs Campground.

This includes the following highways…
Interstate 17 between mile markers 326 and 339.
State Route 89A between mile markers 384 and 394…and
between mile markers 396 and 398.

This includes the following creeks, washes and rivers…
Howard Draw, Schoolhouse Draw, Oak Creek, and Pumphouse Wash.
