A 16-year-old girl was hit by a car at approximately 3:40 PM Monday while walking her bike across the crosswalk headed east on Lake Mary. After she was hit by the car she was smart enough to take a photo of the car. The man that hit her is an older white male possibly with white hair. He stopped briefly and then drove off and left her in the road. The child suffered minor injuries. A Good Samaritan followed the driver to the University Heights neighborhood after he sped off but eventually lost him. Flag PD has filed a police report with the number P2312146.
