UPDATE: A young woman died after being struck by vehicle Monday night in Flagstaff



UPDATE FROM FLAGSTAFF POLICE: FLAGSTAFF, Az. – On November 20th, 2023, at approximately 6:02 pm Flagstaff Police Officers responded to the intersection of W Route 66 and Riordan Rd for a collision report involving a vehicle and pedestrian. Upon arrival the pedestrian, identified as Liana Skow, 20 years old, Flagstaff, was located seriously injured.  Medical personnel responded to the scene and began life-saving measures and Ms. Skow was transported to Flagstaff Medical Center for continuing emergency medical care.  Ms. Skow was later pronounced deceased at the Flagstaff Medical Center. Flagstaff Police Collision Reconstruction investigators responded to the location and learned Ms. Skow was a pedestrian standing on the sidewalk at the intersection when a two-vehicle collision occurred, which resulted in one of those vehicles then crashing into Ms. Skow.  The investigation is on-going at this time and impairment is not suspected to be a factor in the crash. 6:04 PM Flagstaff police and EMS are responding to the area of Milton and Riordan for a pedestrian struck by a vehicle. One is bleeding from the head. Additional resources requested. UPDATE: EMS saying there is only one person injured. The victim is a trauma-critical patient.
