UPDATE: CCSO Provides No Additional Information on Yesterday’s Manhunt North of Flagstaff
FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. — Flagscanner has made multiple attempts to obtain updated information from the Coconino County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) regarding the active manhunt that took place approximately 10 miles north of Flagstaff involving an assault suspect who fled into a wooded area.
As previously reported, the suspect allegedly assaulted and injured a female before running from the scene, prompting a large-scale search involving a helicopter, K9 units, and multiple deputies. Flagscanner initially contacted the Coconino County Sheriff’s Office yesterday during the search. At that time, CCSO confirmed the incident and advised that a press release was being prepared. However, as of this morning, no press release has been sent.
Due to significant public concern and numerous inquiries from residents in the area, Flagscanner contacted CCSO again this morning seeking any updates that could be shared with the community.
CCSO’s response was brief. They stated that:
- No press release will be issued
- No additional details will be provided
- The suspect has still not been located
At this time, there is still no description of the suspect available, and no further information has been released to the public despite repeated requests.
