PRIORITY ALERT: Elementary school evacuated due to possible sewage issue

10:05 AM Summit Fire, Flagstaff Fire, and CCSO are on the scene at Cromer Elementary School in Doney Park for a possible issue with a septic sewage tank. Maintenance crews were working on the tank and pumping waste when they began to notice that sewage fumes were possibly getting inside the school. All students and staff have been temporarily evacuated to the playground or practice fields while the fire department ventilates the areas affected. They are also using tools to verify there is no threat to students and staff upon returning to classrooms.
