Original Report
At 7:50 PM Friday evening, Flagstaff Police, Guardian Medical Transport, and Flagstaff Fire Department Battalion Chief 1, Engine 2, and Rescue 2 were dispatched to a report of an Accident With Injuries in the area of Plaza and Milton. Callers reported a pedestrian who was hit by a vehicle. The scooter rider was declared deceased on the scene. The area of Plaza and Milton will be restricted for several hours.

Witnesses to the accident have reached out to Flagscanner saying prior to the accident, one of the vehicles was allegedly involved in a road rage incident prior to hitting the pedestrian. Our original story said the pedestrian was riding a scooter based on dispatch records, but witnesses also tell us the pedestrian was on foot and not riding a scooter. The incident took place on Plaza Way behind Taco Bell.
