Alert details
At 505 PM MST /605 PM MDT/, Doppler radar indicated that heavy rain
has ended over the warned area, along and south of Highway 64 between
Desert View and Cameron. Between 0.75 and 2 inches of rain fell
earlier this afternoon. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to
begin shortly.
HAZARD…Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
normally dry washes, urban areas, highways, streets and
underpasses.

Mays Wash, Jackrabbit Wash, Tonahakaad Spring, Campbell Francis
Wash, Lee Canyon, Deer Tank Wash, Moenkopi Wash, Cedar Wash and
Burro Canyon Wash.
Safety information
Flooding of washes and creeks will occur, some dirt roads will become
muddy and impassable. Paved roads and underpasses could become
flooded as well.
