2:55 PM Flagstaff Fire Department is responding to E Route 66 near Caspar and Pep Boys for a wildland fire that has started. Witnesses are saying flames are 8 feet tall and that it was possibly started by a cigarette. Multiple unit units are responding. Updates will be in real time below.
update: engine three is on scene reporting a fire under 1/10 of an acre in size with a slow growth potential. A water supply has been established and fire attack has began.
UPDATE 3:07pm crews are reporting good knockdown of the fire no additional resources needed.
